Well, the subject states the problem i have... After installing Pinnacle's Visio application and drivers v5.10 for my PCTV card, i cannot capture any more. I open Visio, select the channel i wish, then close it, open VDub and when i go to capture, i see static instead of the selected channel. Capture worked fine with v4.x of the Visio drivers. Is there any solution to this at the moment? |

Forget the new drivers- I use the old ones, they work really good.

Well, not so good. With the old drivers, when i closed and re-open Pinnacle's Visio application or VDub in capture mode, after a while, while initializing the driver, the PC froze (completely, no numlock, no nothing). It was rather strange because it happened under Win2k in a fresh installation. This doesn't happen with the new drivers though... If this situation continues though (not being able to capture), i will have to return to the old drivers and their problems... 
I was hoping for an answer from Avery (or anyone very close to him), saying something like "it will work in the next version of VDub". Anyway, i'll wait and see what hapens... |
