So I got a Hauppauge HD PVR from a friend and because of this I don't have any of the included software.
I was hopeing I could use virtual dub to capture the video, but I can't capture. Virtualdub isn't showing a preview either and has an error when I test.
The device is detected and connected.
I'm new to virtualdub (only have been using it to compress Fraps) and I'm not sure even where to start with trouble shooting. Any help with finding the issue much less fixing it would be greatly appreciated.
I do have a trial of the software it was meant for and it works allright but didn't come with the audio codec, but i've been assured by their support that if I buy the $80 full version I wont have any problems. |
