Well this is a question about something is not related to Vdub, but to Image/video processing.
I am investigating with Restoreinpaint 's filters.
I've been using its ColorShock filter with really nice results.
What I want to know is:
Are its results better than a simple sharpening filter?
This is to know if it makes sense to try porting it to Vdub's filter structure.
(Remember that this application's code is not optimized, and I use 5 to 9 iterations depending on image size)
Thank you guys.

I'm disapointed!

@ Morsa

Perhaps they are too busy... Last week (?) you gave the URL to Restoreinpaint. I surfed to this site and found a rather cool image restoration program. The examples are impressive. But the description (marketing?) is written for insiders. The software itself shows a big potential. If i only have time to explore all the features...

For the question ColorShock vs. Simple sharpening:
You can make some tests with still pictures.

Thanks Stefan for answering.
I did some tests with still images and that´s why I´m making this questions.
It seems to me that it is better than just sharpening the image, but I´m not completely sure.
Regards.
