Streaming Bar On Media Player, no drag-and-drop after 1 min.

I need to use the drag-and-drop feature of my media player because I use my videos as language training.
After 1min or so of video, the progress bar gets to the end, though the video continues playing.
Somebody told it´s something to do with Key Frames.
Can anybody help me?
