.avi To .mpg, TMPGEnc wont convert my .avi disk to.mpg

Hi again,

why won't TMPGEnc convert my .avi burned cds to .mpg?

it works for .avis on my hardrive but not disks, why?

i don't know, but why don't u take the 5 mins to copy the .avi file to the hd, and then use that file?

do u prefere that tmpg will fetch the cd drive for hours during the encoding? imo, it would be better to copy to hd first, and then convert.
