OK.. I see. But if I choose unrestricted, the Closed GOV box is 'checked'! Do I ignore or should Unchecked..?
In my quote above you see that the ID = 0 - Any ideas on how to not contain 0 number..?

Closed GOV is usually better in XVid (avoids a bframe before scene change issue - although that might be fixed now???)

Not sure where you've gotten that info from
If it's mediainfo or similar then the ID is just 0 for the first video stream, 1 for the next etc (usually there's only one video stream, and it's 0)
AFAIK that is

OK, I let it check. About ID hahaha.. I've got from MediaInfo in MPC.
Well dloneranger, thank you for all your help, well done and very much appreciated! biggrin.gif

My problem is solved, it seems possible to close this thread.

dloneranger, I have two questions:

1. I see both files ffavisynth.dll and FLT_ffdshow.dll they do not exist in \system32, but is it necessary to add them in VirtualDub root?
2. I saw there are ogg.dll and vorbis.dll in the VirtualDubMOD. So far I know AVI just support for the audio of mp3/wav/ac3, but not for ogg. So, what for is it..?

1) Where/what are these files from?
(If you have a 64bit os then 32bit system files are in syswow32 not system32)

2) Those files are specific to virtualdubmod, probably for it's built in mkv handling
Virtualdub uses whatever codes are built-in or installed on your pc - acm codecs for audio and vfw codecs for video
Extra plugins may use these codecs or like ffmpeg plugin be built into them, or DirectShow plugin use DirectShow codecs

1) I use WinXP 32bit SP3, it doesn't have \syswow32 in XP, just have \system and \system32. So, it doesn't need to add..?
2) OK, I just know it.. maybe used in External encoders for vdprof or to open file that contains ogg audio.. right

Thanks for info. smile.gif

Note:
- ffavisynth.dll from C:\Program Files\AviSynth 2.6\plugins
- FLT_ffdshow.dll from C:\Program Files\DScaler5
But both are not exist in my Windows\system32.

2) No, they're not used by virtualdub

1) I'm not sure what you're after, yes you can copy random dll's into system32 if you feel like it, but why?
What is the problem your trying to solve?

Nope, so far there's no problem. OK, I copy ffavisynth.dll only into system32.

Also, I just download the FFMPeg Plugin v0817 and All FccHandlers Stuff under your signature's link.
Very useful... Thanks a lot. cool.gif
