I have seen a similar question about capturing the timestamp from a video camera; however, I would like to inset the running computer system time while capturing directly to a PC from a video camera. Is this possible with VirtualDub? |

I never tried Alidator, it's pretty nice. Easy to use, no options to mess with. I have used Add Frame Number on the same page, which is a lot more complex. You can configure it to show time, date, time+date as well as frame numbers.

Thanks, I used both of them. I like the running millisecond display, plus the running time (to the whole second). |
