Unregistered

I had a question earlier about uninstalling/removing Virtual Dub from my system. Finally, I got brave and dove right in, knowing I could always restore a previous registry.
It looked like all I needed to do was remove the folder in which I had installed Virtual Dub, and then remove two Freeware entries in the registry. The two entries were in HK_CURRENT_USER and HK_USERS. That works, too. Actually, both entries disappeared when I took out the first one. I left the URL entries alone.
Is there any problem with doing it this way? |
