I'm using Formac Studio DV/TV connected to my Apple to generate a movie. The format is DV. I copy the movie to my W2k-PC. The panasonic DV-codec is installed (version 2, 64, 1119, 1600) When I open the DV-movie on the PC using Windows Mediaplayer, the quality is pretty good. When I open the same DV-movie on the PC using Quicktime, the quality is pretty bad. And finally, I'm not able to open the movie using Virtualdub (using version 1.4.13). Virtualdub states : cannot determine file type of "xxxx".
Anyone has a suggestion?

Try to install the DV codec from http://mainconcept.com ... note that type 2 DV video can not be opened in Vdub ...
