I bought an NVIDIA GTS 450 to replace my ATI 2600XT and I can't figure out how to adjust the settings.

With the ATI card, I would open a clip in Virtualdub and adjust the brightness and contrast to get the input frame and the output frame to look the same. With my NVIDIA card, I can't find any way to make the same adjustments. Am hoping that someone with an NVIDIA card can help me. I've never owned an NVIDIA card before.

The default settings are close but the input frame is not as crisp as the output frame. The blacks aren't as dark and the whites aren't as white. The contrast doesn't look quite right.

When just opening a file the input and output pane should always look the same.

You seem to describe a PC<->TV level issue, but I'm not sure.

I figured it out but it's a real PITA. It was a whole lot easier with the ATI card.

I kept trying to move the sliders but it would do nothing at all so I opened MPC-HC and moved the sliders and it would change the picture so I moved the frame next to the output frame and adjusted it until it looked the same and then reopened VDUB to make sure the two frames looked the same. I could not see the changes in the input frame until I reopened VDUB. With the ATI card, I could see the changes realtime in VDUB as I moved the sliders. I didn't have to keep closing and opening VDUB to see the changes.

The first time that I installed the ATI card I had to change the settings but after that, every time I installed new drivers, every thing was perfect and I didn't have to change them again that I can recall..
