I have looked around for anything that would minimize or remove scratches from a monitor but all I get are screen scratches and not exteriors of monitor. I have a CRT and not an LCD.
I don't think using the wax or chemicals for cars would be ideal in this case and may be too strong.
I have included a short clip of what I'm talking about: http://rjschat.dyndns.org:8080/Paranoha/AP...onitor-xvid.avi
This is a small spot on the exterior. The rest of the exterior is clean. It was my fault that these scratches occurred. This is a nice monitor and if I could at least hide it good that would be great.
Does anyone know what would work to hide these scratches, besides possible a thin gray marker?

Rain-X?
You might look at what's available for photography lenses or for repairing CDs. |

those scratches look as if they are through the surface and into the plastic..
use some masking tape, newspaper and a small paint spray pack.. ??
find a sticker to cover it ??
model airplane paint with a fine brush ??

I use to do photo retouching of negatives and prints back in the day. hmmmm. Maybe if I find some dye that matches the gray color I might be set. |
