Hi

I wanted to shout out a thanks to Phaeron and all the other people who keep this going. I've been away from video stuff for years ... but a note from TCMullet got me to look around again. And I really had to share the smile this has brought to my face.

Cheers to you all!

Yes, Trev (not the real name), I'm glad my sleuthing to track you down brought you back. I say this even though my original goal for such has been dashed by Phaeron's "cleanup" of the hole you found that allowed you to write that funky PanNScan filter.

For long stretches of time I have not used Vdub at all. I am now in the early months of the most intense and meaningful usages of it ever. I have to say though that at numerous times, your "Color Tools" filter has been a tremendous aide to me. So thank you for THAT! (Long owed.)

Hey, now that I'm almost ready to be a filter writer (by nearly drowning in Delogo's code as I seek to modify it), I may actually dig into Color Tools to make it even better. Boy, will Karel (author of Delogo) be surprised when he finds out how much I've changed Delogo. And I *have* had an idea or two for a filter that I figured one very distant day I might be able to implement if I ever did learn C++, which I now have! (albeit still rather green)

BTW, I have a slight wish that everyone would use an intial cap on their handle, just like our names and surnames. But no matter if noone else does. I will merely do that when I address folks. As for my handle, the leading caps are only "TC", not "TCM". "TC" is my first & last initials; the "mullet" is simply a big suffix I came to use years ago which makes for rather unique handles and usernames. So "Mr. C" might be more accurate than "Mr. Mullet". HA... Ironic that I'm learning C and am Mr. C. Hope to be able to learn to live up to the "++" of it.
