hmmm... I'm using the excellent BSplayer 0.85-488.

Usually, I used the overlay mode, because it seemed more elegant & efficient (direct use of the video memory, nope? instead of copying data from system ram to video ram rolleyes.gif ).

BUT.... One day, I tried the "force RGB" mode, and...! I was surprised to see a better image, even if darker. The colors are...."warmer" (?), it all looks so more natural. Of course, there is some more CPU usage (I can see it cuz I'm running a venerable P3-500@690 cool.gif ) but it's worth it.

NB: I have a Geforce2Pro card. BSplayer says that I can't use the "RGB+Overlay" feature. Is this due to the driver or a technical capability my video card doesn't support? I'd like to have the advantage of the RGB & Overlay wub.gif (yeah! I finally found an excuse to use that smiley tongue.gif )

ciao
