Problem with VCD.

Why some VCD movie can't be played on computer ?
Opening with Windows Media Player (WMP) ver8, it display an error - "incorrect function"
and and using other player software are also produce an error.

but on VCD player, it can be played.

i noticed this error when i burned a short movie with nero ver5.5.9.9 using the VCD-Movie Compilation Template.
after the burning vcd finished, i tried to open it with WMP, and it failed to open.

Using JVC/SONY VCD player, nothing error comes. it played smoothly..

then i burned again with Ulead Movie Factory, both PC & VCD player play the vcd-movie without any error.

does it caused by nero bugs ?
any comment/advice ?
