Hi everybody
I've got a big problem with Virtualdubmod.
When i try to open it, i simply get an error :

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
------------------------------------------------
Runtime error !
Program : c:\.....\Virtualdubmod.exe
abnormal program termination |
Please help me i can't us VDM

What version? Did you try it without any external plugins? Download again or another version.
Make sure that nothing else is running in the background.

I have the same problem. And I got it now when I had reinstalled XP. Before virtualdubmod work fine!!! Not more!! |

Now it works for me. Its look like that the problem cames when I downloaded microsoft servicepacks.
Avisynth doesn't work too, so I uninstalled Avisynth and then VDM work. Then I install avisynth again and now everyting works fine for me!!!
(if it doesn't work to uninstall and reinstall avisynth, try to uninstall your backweb, it came the same error for me when backweb restarted after installed servicepacks!("Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library" for my backweb))
