Vdm Freezes, Becomes Invisible, Crashes Whole Os

I opened VDM and the first thing I wanted to do was to check if there was a newer version, so I went to "Help", to open the VDM website from there; by mistake, I clicked on that annoyingly animated "About" dialog, and it opened. I closed it - and VDM instantly froze. I wanted to force-kill it, but it didn't show on the task list, with any process manager. I couldn't kill it with anything. Then I clicked on VDM's frozen window again, and the system immediately crashed with the following dumps in faultlog:
