since I can't get any visual window editor to work for me (VC++, Delphi, VB), these were produced in PSP. web album of fake screenshots
First one's the main window as normal
next one's a swatch box to store little clips of video in, to use while editing, think of the WinForWorkgroups3.11 ClipBook, for videos. no actual video would be stored in it, just poiners to where in a video file they should be. to add to it, make a selection in the loaded video, hit add, to insert a clip into the loaded video, put the track tab where you want to insert and hit insert. load and save are to manage lists of clips, and delete deletes a clip in the loaded swatch.
next 4 are the Video settings panel, in various modes of operation. next 4 are the Audio settings panel, in various modes of operation. load and save on each of these manages panel specific settings, the current load and save processing settings would do what they do now, but these would give you the option of only saving a portion of the processing settings.
the last 3 are the A\V Codec panel.
the X next to the tabs, closes whatever tab is open, keeping the settings
