I like the GUI how it is now but I think that with some minor changes it can be a lot better:

1) Add this file in the VirtualDub folder: http://www.multiupload.com/3Q9EDYRZ10
2) Change from the slider in the image 1 to the one in the image 2

I believe the slider was made that way with the purpose to make visible the selection points beneath the slider.

External manifests also don't always work reliably in Windows 7, due to changes in manifest resolution. I think the last time I tried, it worked for 32-bit, but not for 64-bit.
