Hi Folks, I Just wanted to Make a Sugestion for a Feature that would come in Very Handy in Capture Mode...It would be Nice while Captureing if you Can Pause the Capture For Comercials or What not, then be able to resume Capture when the Comercials are over without starting a New File...This would save So Much time Cuz after Captureing a 2 or 3 hour Movie I have to wait 2 or 3 more hours while I edit out the Comercials and Join the Parts back together....Just a Sudgestion that would be Great if it can be implemented But if not Ohhh Welll....ThanX |

That's my favorite thing about video capture on a computer. Being able to edit frame-accurate the commercials out afterwords. What if you're busy when the show/movie comes back on
But you idea does sound interesting and would be useful to cut back on disk space usage for commercials.

Great suggestion!
I usually watch the show while I'm capturing, so I've gotten into the habit of stopping the capture when the commercials start, and during the commercials I'll go through and rename the multisegmented file(s) I just captured so that when the commercials end I can begin capturing again without overwriting my previous capture. This works fine unless you miss renaming one of the segments (that happened to me once and I was *so* pissed...)

I use the option under Capture -> 'Auto-interment filename after capture' to avoid overwriting multiple captures
