I'd like to be able to send a job back from the job list to VD, so if it needs to be altered, I don't have to completely re-build it, or rely on a VCF to do so (since I don't think to make them for that purpose)

And when multiple concurrent jobs have the same MPEG source, is it absolutely necessary to reload that MPEG for each job? I'd think that since it's reusing the same MPEG source, it would be able to just load it once for each concurrent group of jobs using it, cut down on the time it takes to load the file each time.
Same for AVIs really, but their load times seem to be imperceptible, except when the index is missing, which is when it would really come in useful to just load it the once.

I do use it. huh.gif what exactly does the shutdown button have to do with what I was asking for???? blink.gif

ANYway, ideas to improve both VD's and VDMod's job windows, VD's was relatively simple to add it onto, VDMod's took a bit more time.

Add the status window into the job control window

VirtualDub
VirtualDubMod

I may have forgotten to add the "Abort Current" and "Abort All" buttons to the VDMod version
