Especially since as far as I know half of us (like me) current post to several different boards. why be afraid of losing members unless the content of the forum is less than adequate to keep them, and I can vouch for the quality of most of the posts on doom9's forums, even though I don't post much there, I still read it, and if I see something interesting enough reply to it.

very well said but it isn't the point any more and I guess it was never the point...

I herewith apologize about not having respected your forum rules. This weighs even heavier as i was mod on your forums and therefore should know them better than the normal user.

It was wrong from me to insist towards the other mods and super-mods to put the thread back up before you could clarify. I suggest that this action from my side was the reason why some of your mods overreacted.

In fact i was pissed when you deleted the thread, but i do understand it was logical reaction after our dispute on IRC.

To my defense i would like to add that in my initial post here i was not giving any details about what had happened. IMHO the users had the right to know that i left Doom9 and that there was a dispute. They also had the right to know that you had removed the link to here, and its good you came here to clarify why this ever happened.
I decided to give the users some more background after koepi came here stating that all i said was dirty talking. Please understand that this was important for me, being the admin on this board.

I am sorry i had to interrupt our IRC conversation from yesterday, but renting the house and renovating it has absolute top priority for the time being and i was already much behind my shedule for the weekend when i left my PC to welcome people interested in renting it, and after that i went on renovating ( my wife was still pissed when she returned ... thats life  )
The next 2 days i will not return home but go see some customers, i am sure we will be able to finish the conversation and clear the air again finally.
Regarding your offer to return to the board :
Please understand i will not get an account there for the next couple of weeks, until everything is settled completely. The community should not be tackled with negative things, instead we should look forward. Time will tell ...
