Could you to add too the VirtualDubMod, for reasons of compatibility with .OGM file, for example?
The site of file with all files necessary is the following: http://download2.videohelp.com/download/Vi..._10_2_b2542.zip
I know that this version is old, but until now, I not seen a version to open .OGM video files. Is also of phaeron (Avery Lee programmer).

Could you to add in this topic the new Ffmpeg Input Driver, created by raythe0n (http://www.awp-team.net/ffmpeg_vdub.html)? This Input Driver, is begining your development, but can open a lot of video formats, that before not was possible to open in VirtualDub.

All of the UVDF would liked that VirtualDub would be able to save from other Output Formats, not only .avi, but currently is possible to use frameservers and circumvent this.

For external encoders you need VirtualDub 1.10.1 (there is a link in the first post).
If you have the AAC ACM Codec installed (and updated) you should be able to decompress all AAC audio.

The latest version of the Matroska input plugin support Theora video, it was already supporting Vorbis audio.
This should cover almost all .ogg/.ogm files (after remuxing them to mkv).
