Longtime user here, but my first time posting. As the title says... alt-right-arrow not working properly. Its does scroll through the timeline cursor bar, however there is no image in the video screen. Clicking the play button does show the image and start the video playing.
I need the Fast Playback option so I can quickly scroll through a long video and strip out specific still frames for a document. I have tried both .avi & MPEG videos to no avail.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks Jack |

This might be a silly question, but if you go to Options -> Keyboard Shortcuts is Edit.GoToNextUnit set to Alt+Right? |

In VirtualDub you normally see "two" video panes: - Input video pane (at the left) - Output video pane (at the right)
In the View-menu > Pane layout, the option "Both panes" should be selected.
In the View-menu itself, Input video pane AND Output video pane, should both be checked. |
