Due to an excessive number of spam account registrations, I have taken the unfortunate step of blocking registrations from all networks in India. After tracking the IP addresses of spam accounts caught by moderators over a period of several months, it was clear that an overwhelming majority of the spammers were originating from there from IP addresses too diverse to target with selective blocking. This is an informally run discussion board with volunteer moderators, and it wasn't fair to burden the moderation staff with the constant game of whack-a-mole.
