Since this is VIrtualdub and that Virtualdub has always only output AVI files. Something needed for any this type of setup even in anyone's video tool box. A way to repack video from one container to another container quickly. Be it to change to load or to change to have different than a video container AVI
This tool Video Container Changer may help many people to do that. It's abilities is totally dependant on the ffmpeg version it has been told to use. Maybe pack with older and newer ffmpeg builds and a read me to say this will help others. It hasn't been updated in a while so assume stable
This is a tool should be mentioned more often when helping people. Many ask for how to do this and don't know how to use or like to set up external encoders to do same. As expected is 1:1 direct copy transcode one container to another container. It doesn't seem to demux or mux, it does have an input for using other ffmpeg commands
An ffmpeg UI (needed for use)
Any ffmpeg build (tried an old one and newest one both worked with different options available or unavailable)
.Net framework 2 or .Net Framework 4
The Video Container Changer v1.1.zip download include two builds one for each .Net version (Video Container Changer v1.1 .Net 2 tested working OK with XP3 OS) |

After I'm a bit "ahead" I will write a proper guide with link to useful tools, but now I'm still at start.
I need a lot of beta testing.

Unfortunately ffvdub require the real ffdshow installed, I have to think how to do.
Maybe I can detected if ffdshow isn't installed and in that case don't allow to install it or include the needed parts of ffdshow in the pack, I'm still not sure.
