Well. I know that you RIP a DVD into a MPEG2 file. Or something like that, I do not know about DVD ripping too much. But I find MPEG2 format wide spreaded and moreover, IMPORTANT. I dont like recording my video files into MPEG1 simply beacuse it is NOT enough for me.
I usually choose MPEG2 2/4/6 mbit/s format. And then, I can almost do nothing with it. I can't edit, I can't compress it to AVI. It IS so large in that format. I can't find any method that lets me compress it. Maybe I am clumsy.
So all is all, I SUGGEST VIRTUALDUB SHOULD HANDLE MPEG2!
Is there any chance of this in the future versions? Or are there any problems that are stopping this. I think this could be possible then.
And remember: there has been no program in the e-world like VirtualDub and Nandub. Development cannot be stopped.
