27May2012 Greetings. How about if the ViDub "File Information" popup could/would say whether the movie is interlaced or progressive? |

Unfortunately, this information is not usually available to VirtualDub. |

28May2012 Well, utilities like MediaInfo can (usually) make that specification ... and TMPGenc can also (usually) make that specification ... so it seems to me that ViDub COULD also make that specification ... This is one specification that one must know when redubbing videos ... It would be useful if ViDub c/w/ould provide such necessary info. |

One other item for consideration is that ViDub could/should indicate if the Video fps is variable or constant. One needs to know this when using avs scripts. ViDub can alert the user to variable bitrate audio. It seems to me that ViDub could/should indicate if the Video fps is variable or constant. |

One other item for consideration is that MediaInfo is opensource, so ViDub could incorporate the MI.dll into the ViDub build. There are other freeware apps/utils that do that. Then ViDub users could access in ViDub / in one place all info needed about a video for a processing in ViDub ... |
