hi everyone

i used virtualdub to resize my video to 352x240 for VCD and added subtitles in the black region below video and it play fine on the PC. However, when I put it into my DVD/VCD player, the the second line the subtitles is cut off. Anyone know what could be the problem?

Thanks

Overscan. All TVs have it. Basically what it equates to is that what you see on the TV screen is not everything. There are parts at the top and bottom of the screen and even the sides that are projected off the visible part of the tube etc. There is no way around it. You are simply going to have to nudge your subtitles up.
