To the devotees of the DIFFI-Cult... Frame Buffer, meanes merging the saved image to a timestamp that is unknown yet. For those of yours that didn't understand, you have to use the filter twotimes: to save an later to merge the frame. A buffernumber wouldn't be bad, so you can do more bufferd Frames sametime! Is there some kind of that? Simple question, or? Await difficult answeres!Do anybody know WINAMP somehow

I'm guessing you're feeding this though one of the web translation pages from another language, because I can't understand a sentance of those posts, usually tends to be a side effect of WorldLingo for me.

Must be something In The Air Tonight, O Lord.
To the original poster ... i have about a 20% chance of having understood you correctly but if I did, I think you can accomplish what you want only manually, with something like Donald Graft's Logo or David Roden's Overlay filter. I.e., you capture a frame from your video to an image file, then using the Logo/Overlay filter merge/overlay it into your video at a certain frame # a little bit later, with whatever transparency you want, etc.
If you're looking for a generic "do it all for me", kind of like ... uh ... I think it was MovieShaker that I saw had a filter for that effect ... I've never seen a VirtualDub filter for that. Let us know if you write one, that'd be k3w1 (see, i'm not some old fuddy duddy that can't do haxx0r )(ok, you caught me, i am now i'll go back to relaxen und watchen das blinkenlichten) |

Uh, yeah.
Trying to interpret your original post, i thought you wanted the effect where images from a previous scene or earlier in the same scene (say, 5 seconds in the past) semi-transparently blend in over the current image. That's easy to do in a NLE, but automating it is rare (like i said, i think i saw it in MovieShaker).
You mean something else? What? Can you describe what you mean by "buffers like WinAmp/AVS" -- though i've used WinAmp, i don't know what you mean ... |

..in WINAMP's AVS EDITOR under MISC is a point BUFFER SAVE. I meant it that kind, with BUFFERNUMBER a.s.o.. |

FILTER BLENDER
is right the tool I was looking for. It is quite as siple as it can be, but it works great. For all those who doing a litle hart with it (like I;-), let me tell you how it works: you have to use the filter three times first time it save the aktual image in a BUFFER, now start path A, second time it save the filtered image in A, and replace the aktual by the BUFFER, now starts path B, at last use the FILTER BLENDER to blend the both filter paths together. |
