Dr.Web detect "MPEG2.vdplugin infected with Trojan.Swizzor.19410". It is probably a false positive but I would like to be secure. Can someone check the file?

FWIW, just ran Dr. Web's Cure It and it didn't find anything either. |

You are using an old version, the problem is in version 4.5. But it is probably a false positive, I have submitted the plugin to the AV, I hope they will say something soon.

You're right, I was using an old one. I downloaded the latest version from the Sourceforge page located in dloneranger's signature and it was flagged by Dr. Web:

Good eye. |

That was 16 minutes and given it may have been faster time if didn't have to wait for the email auto retrieve wait time. I wonder then if Dr.Web offers a better service than other similar software providers, or maybe that they were having a quiet day |

I will say that a couple of years ago I had a nasty virus that I couldn't get rid of. Tried AVG, Avast, Spybot S&D, AdAware, and a dozen other things. Eventually the only thing that managed to kill it was Dr. Web's Cure It. I now run that fairly often, even though it's annoying because you have to download it every time, and you have to agree to report your results. The only thing you really need to watch with it is your hosts file if you've made any modifications. It will detect those modifications as malicious and wipe it, so you have to make sure to ignore it. I keep a backup copy anyway just because I occasionally forget and it gets wiped. |

But I admit that all my reports to various AV are all replied faster than I tought with one exception: ClamAV.
I haven't got any replies from ClamAV and they mark all setups created by Inno Setup as spyware (PUA.Spyware.XPCSpyPro). I have created an empty setup that do nothing and it is marked as spyware by ClamAV.
