My last ( and first ) question hasn't been answered yet and I am already shooting another one.  ( like this smily, or ninjy ).
I was fooling around with the sound capturing option in capture mode. Then I saw next to the plain PCM codec it is also possible to capture the audio in vorbis.
As we all know vorbis has a relatively small file size, so I thought why not capture with vorbis.
Then i saw all the modes i could choose from and I didn't know what to do anymore. Mode 1, Mode 1+, mode 2, mode 2+, mode 3, mode 3+ and each mode has its own bitrate settings. 
Which one should I use and at what bitrate or should I keep capturing with PCM?  |

I suggest you don't compress your audio while capturing to save some CPU resources and thus prevent possible a/v sync problems. |

possible a/v sync problems??... it won't never be in sync  maybe with a really good, stable and fast pc but then only using mp3 not OggVorbis

IIRC Sarreq Terryx ( or however he's spelled ) said that the Vorbis ACM codec works for him without a/v sync problem. But VBR schouldn't be used in AVI anyway so Vorbis isn't really a possibility.
But since real-time audio compression uses too much CPU resources it's pointless to discuss whether Vorbis is possible or not if we're talking about capturing.  |

sync ? I dont even get a sync movie with vorbis, when I compress after capture

my Vorbis in AVI experiences:
using Nandub -> perfect sync but impossible to seek
using Vorbis ACM -> always randomly out of sync but files are seekable |
