Hi NG,
I tried to capture with some versions of VirtualDub (VD). It is always the same: I lose about 50% of the captured frames. I only can use the PCM-audiocompressor, or VD would not start to capture. When I use it it says after capture: (german) Error 441: Mistake at capturing audio. Slowdown capturingspeed.
With every other compressor it says: Not enough memory.
Videocapture works with half and fullsize, as long as I don't capture audio.
When audiofilesize is about 1.5 MB, videofile with DivX 4 is 500 KB.
I use a TV-card with BT848 (IXTV), for Mac and PC, on a pc, 1800 Athlon, Gigabyte 7VAXP, VIA KT400, 256MB DDR 266 Ram.
While capturing, I can see the video and hear audio. Don't know what to do at all. Want to capture a videotape.
Please write in easy words, I am german and want to understand what you are saying.
Thanks.
