I have recorded some Sailor Moon episodes a little while ago... Info about the recorded episodes:
Video ======== Codec: DivX Format: RGB 24-bit Resolution: 384 x 288 FPS: 25
Sound: PCM 44 khz, 16-bit, Stereo
Recorded from: Analog device, in fact it was recorded directly from a TV Channel
Now OK, here is the question:
I want some advise for which filters to use... the image is a bit dirty, probably because it was live from TV, and I want to make the lines in the image a bit "sharper"...
Also, if I use a filter, I don't like side-effects when using it (fading of frames, fast movement of some pixels etc.)
So, if anybody knows a good list of filters to use, and off course their properties, post it plz

When I am cleaning up cartoons with heavy noise I use Smart Smoother HiQuality 1.1 diam 7 thr 50 amount 200 and and then Dynamic Noise Reduction 2.1 at 18 or the built-in Temporal Smoother at 4, last I use the built-in Sharpen filter set to 10. I use the settings solely for cartoons, if the noise is light I lower the amount of the Smart Smoother or take it off.
