Hello. I have Logitech C920 webcam and Blue Yeti microphone for making videos.

When I capture video in virtualdub using these things, many stuff goes wrong.

The first one is that even though I set everything up in Capture pin, in the preview/overlay mode (before starting recording) the framerate stays at 30 fps for few seconds, then drops to 1 or 2. When I record, the preview is still pixelated, slow, framerate drops, but the video is fluent (although when playing in VLC there are many artefacts - when opened in Win Movie Maker, the artifacts aren't there).

The next problem is that the audio has half a second or second lag.

How do I fix these things?

I am using 32bit version of VirtualDub, my PC has Q9300 processor, SAPPHIRE R7 250 BOOST graphic card, 4 gigs of ram. I tried recording to both my internal and external hard drive.

I installed ffdshow, didn't help. Does it need any special set up? I dont have any other codec pack.

Does the webcam need some special drivers? Animal sacrifice? I really have no idea.

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks, James
