i'm using windows 7.

i've been trying to figure out why i can't do screen recording with virtualdub..

when i select "device", "screen capture" this is the image size i get..

so i was told to go to "video", "source" and untick "use opengl hardware acceleration"..

but when i do.. the "rescale from larger area" is blacked out BUT if i tick "use opengl hardware acceleration" and use the "rescale from larger area" option it gives me my entire desktop but it's completely black, only showing me my pointer and nothing else.

anyone have any ideas how i can capture the entire desktop area? anyway.. thanks for any help in the matter.
