How do i reset all changes virtual dub made ?

I used it once and it seems to locked my capture device somehow and now it doesn't work on any other programs i have (Failed to initialize)

Iv already re-installed my device reconnected, booted, everything but nothing seems to help...

VirtualDub cannot keep a lock on the capture device after it has exited. However, the capture device can save its own settings, and if it has dodgy drivers, those settings may cause problems. The place where those are saved is different for every capture driver so I couldn't tell you where they were. VirtualDub can't reset the settings because it doesn't own the settings that are being saved. It also doesn't set anything unusual by default, so I'm not sure what setting might cause this kind of problem.

I'd recommend updating your capture drivers first, and if that doesn't work, you might try the AmCap utility, which is the sample utility Microsoft originally shipped with DirectShow and should be pretty robust.
