I capture video from my Xbox 360 with VirtualDub using the Blackmagic YUV codec. It captures perfectly.
I prefer to edit and render videos in Premiere.
Let's say I record an hours worth of video from my Xbox. When I try to import it into Premiere, it only imports a few minutes of video, and sometimes even less than a minute.
The curious thing is that if I try to import the same video into Sony Vegas 11, it imports the entire video with no problem. But I dislike Sony Vegas because it takes much longer to render videos with it compared to Adobe Premiere.
Wondering if there is a solution to this.
My PC specs;
Windows 7 64-bit AMD Athlon II X2 250 3.00 GHz 4 GB DDR3 RAM Nvidia GeForce GTS 250
If you need any more info I'll post a DxDiag. |

It sounds like Premiere may only be picking up the first 2GB of the file. An extended format is necessary for large AVI files, and not all programs that accept AVI understand the extension. |
