Ok. you know, i wont post the problem here i could fix it alone.

virtual dub works very well, but last time i wanted to encode a video strange things started to happen. the expected time looked like this: 48:16:23:18 and the file size just growed to about 3 gb. so i reinstalled any codec and got a new vdub version. nothing did help. i asked questions through every irc, no one was able to help.

i didnt install anything except the new Nimo Codec pack and Avisynth and some times i had to reinstall divx 502. but it is a vdub internal problem i think, cause every codec works with tmpgenc or other programs. even flask had'nt any problem. just vdub.

so now. if anyone had the same prob or knows what to do please tell. thx a lot

P.S. i hope you dont mind my english. it's late smile.gif

That's too bizarre, dude. What video codec are you trying to compress to?

ok guys. after decoding every source-detail of vdub and not finding anything useful i just tried to exit every not-needed program the system was running. then i started to encode. within 2 minutes the estimated time showed 2 hours and 15 minutes and a 350 mb target file size.

i am thankful to everyone who had tried to solve this. this thread is closed smile.gif
