Hi,
I try to make SVCD with my old VHS. There exist many site about that subject, virtualdub is used to apply Chroma noise filters, and resizes. In all cases, it is recommended to make intermediate rushes, that will be recoded with mpeg2 encoders, such as bbmpeg. The intermediate format is an AVI.
This method is very space huge !!!
Does anyone know how to compress directly in mpeg2 ?
I see with regedit the references for video codecs (those that u can see in your compression list), located (on Win98) at: HKEY-LOCAL-MACHINE -> Software -> Microsoft -> NetShow -> Player -> Codec -> ... Each entry point is composed by keys: Description / Driver / FriendlyName I tried to match bbmpeg.dll with these entries but don't work.
Anyone for an idea ? |

VirtualDub cannot encode MPEG-1 or MPEG-2 files TMPGEnc has a 30-day trial on MPEG-2 encoding and unlimited MPEG-1 encoding.
-------------------- Use the Matroska file format |
