HELLO
I have a Problem in VirtualDub
Things went all wrong after reformating .I have used Virtual for a few years now i cant get it to work with my capture card anymore but thats not what has me pulling my hair out.
Audio ,audio, audio .Here it goes When i open a movie in virtual the Audio is crackling it fades in and out real bad static. But i can play the movie in all my movie players and the audio is fine. The only thing that i found that would make the Audio play right is to check the DIRECT DRAW ACCELERATION IN OPTIONS.
Does anyone know why? and how i can fix this problem so i can edit audio sync when it arises.. unsure.gif

This likely means you have a PCI bus contention problem -- surprisingly, on many cards GDI is actually faster at drawing than DirectDraw, and your video card drivers are probably sending data so fast to the graphics card that the sound card is locked out and skips samples. This problem is particularly common with SoundBlaster Live! sound cards. If you are running with a 32-bit desktop, try 16-bit, and look through the capture card vendor's website for a "PCI bus adaptation" application, if they have one. Also, if you have a VIA-based motherboard, see if one of the various SBLive! patches or 4-in-1 driver upgrades helps.
