Can someone please point me toward a script that could be used to automatically direct stream copy an 8-hour avi file (no audio) into 8 sequential 1-hour segments? I have about 100, 8-hour nights of surveillance footage that we need to break into 1-hour chunks so a motion analysis program can analyze it. Cutting them up manually is labor intensive. Any help would be much appreciated! |

You can use virtualdubs 'save segmented avi' for that Just work out how many frames are in an hour of footage, and enter that number into it's save dialog

Ah! Thank you, that was far simpler than I thought it would be. Long live virtualdub! |
