I've been learning to use avisynth over the past 6 days (with many headaches) but the one problem I can't solve is finding a reliable mpeg2 filter. Elecard leaves a logo in the top corner all the time, and Ligos Mpeg-2 Filter tends to lock up after 40 frames. Are there any alternatives? |

How about using MPEG2DEC together with DVD2AVI (quite easy). See Q33 in the AviSynth FAQ
- or use this experimental filter for direct m2v import:
Nic's MPEGDecoder plugin |

grr. OK I was using this for a short while and it worked perfectly, but I had to reinstall windows, and now every time i try to load a vob with mpeg2dec (via d2v) or mpegdecoder i get an unrecognized exception.
What am I missing here?

Are you using DVD2AVI 1.76? - otherwise you might run into trouble. |
