Hi there, my TVcard has a composite connector which I can connect to my very very old VCR. Is it possible to record my old VHS PAL movies to my HDD through Virtual Dub?

yes you can, what quality you get depends on the quality of your source, how fast your computer is and many many other things that are very individual, please read the FAQ in the capture section of this forum. It should be a good starting point.
