I'm doing a similar job to an mp4 file (H264 encoded) as I was to an avi file in this post (http://forums.virtualdub.org/index.php?act=ST&f=4&t=21778).

I am currently using MP4Cam2AVI to convert it to an AVI so Virtualdub can actually open the file. I also downloaded and installed the K-lite codec pack, as well as H264VfW codec. Virtualdub opens the file just fine, but once I'm ready to apply a DivX compression I get the following error message; "Video compression error: The source image found is not acceptable.
