Hi,
I have a problem when I want joining 2 AVI-Files. For the first part I made an intro with Paint Shop Pro (a GIF-animation) and saved it as an AVI (25 fps, 320*240 size, compressed with DivX 5.01. Codec - the same as the other). I wanted to join with the other AVI and got a error (the videos would have a different number of streams). Because of this I added a WAV to the first with the same prioperties like the other file (44100 Hz, 16 Bit, Stereo). Now I could join, but there is still a problem: I can`t listen to the sound of the second video (No, the first WAV doesn`t superpose the other). What can I do here?

The only thing I can think of is maybe the audio for your intro is too long. It should be exactly the same duration as the video. Try this:
Open just the intro in VirtualDub and bring up the Video->Frame Rate menu. The button at the top "No Change" shows you the actual frame rate of the video. Look at the button that says "Change so video and audio durations match." If the number there is very different, then the audio and video are not the same duration.

Now it functions, but other problems occur (second video is too short). It`s a little bit complicated... Is there any possibilty to create a equivalent WAV-File after you type in what a Frame-Rate you want? Or is there a completly other solution?

I'm not sure what you mean by "second video is too short." It sounds like you need to get yourself a program to edit WAV audio files. Probably the best program for this is CoolEdit, but it ain't cheap
Assuming that the audio stream of the first file is longer than the video stream, VirtualDub can trim off the excess so that they are the same duration. Under Video->Select Range is a checkbox "Cut off audio when video stream ends." Make sure it is checked, load your intro, and save it to a new file with both audio and video set for "Direct Stream Copy." Then append the second video to the new file and see if it helps.
