My film transfer machine holds the movie film still allowing for single frames to be captured manually. Premiere has manual single frame capture. So does miroVIDEO DC 30+ in VidCap. Will I be able to do this with Virtualdub?
Thanks.

Yes, load you movie into Virtual Dub, browse through it until you find the frame you want, then go to video menu and either choose
"Copy source fralme to clipboard" ror "Copy output frame to clipboard" regarding which one you want. Obviously this mean using the second one only if you want to have some post-processing on the frame laugh.gif

Ok, that will capture one frame. How about 6fps?
What I do is put the mouse curser over the capture button and the machine activates it in sync with the pull down of the film. As many captures are done as are wanted. That is what I want to do with this program. As I said it works with Premiere and VidCap in this way.
Thanks
