I am trying to load a 5.02 divx file for cutting/joining. Virtuadub gives me an error message about not supporting the compression. I redownloaded and reinstalled both Virtualdub and the Divx 5.02 bundle, but Virtualdub still refuses to load the file and issues the same error message. I am running under XP Pro.
Can anyone help?
Any advice appreciated,

You are sure it is Divx 5.02 and not another MPEG4 Codec like XVid for example ? Try abcavi to get to know.
