Huffyuv captures exported same size from Premiere show all snow. I'm not the only one to see it. Version 2.1.1 was used in VirtualDub for the captures and Premiere 5.1 for the export. What's up? Is this a bug? |

I don't know for sure but I don't think so. At least not a bug on HuffYUV's part.  It is either a problem with Micrsoft directshow or the directshow decoder for HuffYUV. But IIRC it has always behaved this way. I always use the format as a first stop to a final destination like Xvid or Divx. It works just fine for that for me.  |

I doubt it's a problem with DirectShow, as it is pretty good at working with VFW codecs. Huffyuv has some internal workarounds for about 5-6 programs, and PREMIERE.EXE is one of them; I don't remember the specifics but I think it was something about missing ICCompress() calls and possibly alpha channel requirements. Try some of the compatibility options in the Huffyuv codec configuration dialog and see if they help.
