http://math.berkeley.edu/~benrg/huffyuv.html

This was the URL for Ben Rudiak-Gould's HuffYUV codec and its help files. I have been unable to access this URL for several days or more. The math.berkeley.edu server reports that the page is no longer there.

Does anybody know what's going on? Is HuffYUV moving to another location? Any legal issues?

Ben probably got his degree and left Berkeley, that's all.

We have plans to create a lossless video codec project on corecodec.org and will probably start with ben's HuffYuv code, under GPL of course ....

Support matroska as container and Gstreamer as the only truely open, x-platform multimedia platform ....

Good answers... but, you mean we all have to tolerate thousands of people emailing us now to ask for a copy of HuffYUV? I do hope it returns to a host page somewhere.

Come to think of it, I got my degree and left Berkeley (1994), and my ftp site disappeared too smile.gif
