Divx And Virtualdub, Unknown format during capture

Hoi,

When i capture using divx 5.0.2 in virtualdub I see in Properties in Explorer that the format is not recognized. I can play the video but other programs don't recognize the format.

When I edit the video in virtualdub then the 'unknown format' is replaced by 'Divx'. Does anybody know what's wrong?

Please.
